Ingredients:
1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
1 teaspoon turmeric powder (or grated fresh turmeric)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
A pinch of black pepper (enhances curcumin absorption)
Instructions:
In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
Add the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper to the milk.
Stir well to combine and allow the mixture to simmer for a few minutes.
Remove from heat and sweeten with honey or maple syrup to taste.
Strain the elixir to remove any residue, if desired.
Pour into your favorite mug.
