WHY

By paying attention to the inhale and exhale of our breath, we are able to quiet the ‘sensations of our mind’ and come into a state of meditation that creates a sense of inner peace, resilience, and clarity. HOW

Simple ways towards better self-awareness

  • Practice conscious breathing e.g. inhaling for 4 seconds, holding the breath for 4, and exhaling for 4 seconds (increase the seconds if you want to deepen your breathwork practice).

  • Combine breathwork with a mindful body scan during your meditation. Bringing attention to each part of your body allows you to relax both physically and mentally and become more self-aware. 

  • Explore a ‘Loving - Kindness’ meditation that nurtures a feeling of compassion and love. Directing these positive emotions inwards will help to create a deeper self connection. 

  • Try repeating a mantra, a simple OM quiets our mind and creates a state of transcendent awareness.

  • Include a guided visualization during your meditation to explore your inner landscapes.
